The Legal Affairs Department aims to achieve its vision and mission through the following objectives:

1- Representing the university legally before official and semi-official bodies and competent courts.

2- Promoting legal awareness among university staff and students through seminars and legal workshops.

3- Contributing to resolving problems and obstacles facing the university's colleges and academic and administrative departments.

4- Establishing legal ties between the university and state institutions through participation in conferences, seminars, and training courses.

5- Providing the university with necessary proposals for its operations, such as operational regulations, and preparing legal studies.

6- Providing legal counsel on all legal, administrative, and financial matters within the university, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

7- Reviewing and adjudicating all preliminary and appeals committees related to the rights of the university and its affiliates.

8- Managing all matters related to employment contracts and guarantees for university staff (employees and faculty).
