A Message from the University President

Al-Zahrawi University is proud of its distinguished standing among its peers in Iraqi universities and colleges since its establishment in 2009, the year dedicated to meeting the needs of society. The university has demonstrated its commitment to serving the community throughout these years. The university's creativity in innovation and skills, and its meticulous and direct approach to addressing challenges, remain a source of pride, and we always look forward to working with those who share these values. Since becoming Dean, I have focused on refining the university's strategic direction and opening doors to new opportunities, exploring how to develop and leverage its potential. We consistently employ a unique energy strategy to identify new and advanced plans that capitalize on our strengths and keep pace with the demands and challenges of higher education. This is achieved by working with highly qualified and dedicated staff, building upon a solid foundation of new approaches, and finding innovative ways to transform these challenges into successes, quality, and opportunities that benefit all members of society. In addition to facilitating the educational process using modern educational tools at the national and local levels and contributing to industrial development and societal advancement, preparing students for the workforce is one of our priorities. Therefore, university staff are committed to reviewing the university's offerings. We are also continuously developing e-learning to integrate various forms of education, combining online and traditional learning. The university also focuses on fulfilling its future mission by educating citizens and professionals to achieve the highest standards, developing and disseminating knowledge, and finding solutions to the challenges of our time through engagement with local communities. This objective also includes the continuous updating and development of the university's strategic plan.
